traveling
Eve's grandparents - Heinz & Emma Scheermesser - tied this tapestry in 1979
as an anniversary gift for Eve's parents Ludwig & Angelika (*1952 - †2013)
symbolizing their love for traveling and foreign countries
after they had just returned from Asia.
AIRPORT
We recommend that you fly to Chicago's O’Hare International Airport (ORD), which is 230mi/370km from the wedding.
A closer airport is Appleton, Wisconsin (ATW) or Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB) which are both about an hour 60mi/90km from us. However, flying into Appleton or Green Bay will be more expensive than into Chicago.
Chicago O'Hare
We‘ve found reasonable flights with Iceland Air and SAS for international flights.

Direktflug mit Lufthansa
We'll get you to the wedding...
We plan on several group pickups on the most frequent travel days from the airport to Gresham and back.
...and there's also a bus
The Greyhound bus ride from Chicago to Shawano, Wisconsin takes about 5h and another 20min drive by car to Gresham. We can pick you up at the Shawano Greyhound station.
For your return bus trip; we suggest that you look at the Shawano or Green Bay, Wisconsin Greyhound routes to Chicago. Whatever works best for your schedule.
The ticket price is $32-$59 depending on when you book. Expect to take a cab from Chicago O’hare airport to the Chicago Greyhound stations. There is NOT a Greyhound bus that stops directly at the airport.
